Dresser and nightstand are fully assembled. Everything is solid pine...  Drawers are on full extension, ball bearing glides for years of trouble free use.
The bed needs to be assembled but it's a basic assembly.

We choose to work with lodgepole pine as it grows naturally in the forests of NW Montana and is known for its superior strength to weight ratio. It is also straighter, thus making it easier to work the raw wood into the highest quality furniture possible. Our lodge pole pine is harvested in the Kootenai National Forest via a very selective process. Skilled woodsmen select each tree with an attentive eye toward the quality, straightness and size of each specimen. After felling, each piece is hand carried to the road to ensure both the tree and the environment remain unharmed. Then each log is hand peeled, using the skip-peel method where some of the inner bark is left on the logs, creating a beautiful rustic piece of furniture for your home, lodge or cabin.
There is often some checking in the logs which is a natural occurrence with lodge pole pine, but it does not affect the strength and durability of the furniture. It actually adds character to them.
One great advantage of furnishing your home with rustic log pine furniture is the simple upkeep on the furniture.
No worries about nicks and dings as they only enhance the rusticness of the furniture. If the scratch or nick is too deep, simply sand it down and re-apply some varnish or whatever finish you chose to use on it.
